Litigants at the Kiboga High Court Session

Kiboga High Court Circuit today kicked off its second criminal session for 46 cases presided over by the Resident Judge, Justice Jamson Karemani.

The session started with plea-taking.

The cause-list signed by the Court's Ag. Deputy Registrar, HW Mutatiina Natukunda Angella indicates that the 46 cases to be handled include; Aggravated Defilement (23), Murder (14), Aggravated Trafficking in Children(4), and Rape (2). The other cases to be handled are; Procuring a child for defilement (1), Causing Death of a Person (1) and Aggravated Robbery (1).

HW Mutatiina explained that the Criminal Session files are 41but with 46 cases as some of the accused persons are battling multiple charges.
